Monthly Product Update: March 2026

March was a big month at Framesports. Here's a summary of some of the features we released:
Presentations & Comments
Presentations are how coaches review and share game analysis with their team. They combine video clips, tactical animations, stats, and on-screen drawings into a slide-based format that can be presented in team meetings or shared with individual players.
This month we added threaded comments to presentations, letting coaches and analysts have focused discussions on specific slides. Each comment links directly to the slide it references, so clicking on a comment takes you straight to the exact moment being discussed. We also added drawing seek, which lets you scrub through on-screen annotations frame by frame, and a new full-screen present mode so coaches can run through analysis in team meetings without any UI distractions.
Social Media & Content
Framesports automatically generates social media content from your game analysis. Once a game is analysed, the platform creates match report videos, highlight reels, and branded graphics that are ready to post to your club's social channels.
This month we expanded this to governing body accounts, so organisations like unions and leagues now get their own automatically generated content alongside the teams they oversee. Match report articles for governing bodies use a neutral perspective rather than favouring one side. We also made it easier to export videos directly from the editor and improved default settings for social media graphics.
Teams Index Redesign
The Teams page is where coaches scout and compare opposition teams. We rebuilt it from the ground up this month. It now features a filterable stats table covering all 15 key stat categories, a search bar, quick filter bubbles, and smooth horizontal scrolling on mobile. Finding and comparing teams across your competition is significantly faster.
Clips Database Redesign
The clips database is where coaches browse and organise video clips from across their games. We redesigned the interface with a cleaner layout, content type labels on each clip card so you can quickly tell what you're looking at, and faster clip previews.
Sessions Page Improvements
Sessions are individual games or training footage uploads. The Sessions page now remembers your club filter by default, and we added search bars inside the filter dropdowns so you can quickly find specific teams or competitions. The mobile filter panel was also redesigned for a much cleaner experience on smaller screens.
Mobile Experience
We made several improvements to how Framesports works on phones and tablets. The mobile navigation menu was redesigned as a full-screen immersive dropdown for easier access. We also fixed spacing issues on the momentum dashboard, resolved text wrapping problems on the homepage in Safari, and cleaned up layout overflow across game settings, uploads, and player profile pages.
Other Notable Updates
Multi-team animation support: Players who play for multiple teams now render correctly in the tactical animation editor, which coaches use to diagram plays and movements.
Keyboard shortcuts: We added a full suite of keyboard shortcuts for game review, including Tab/Shift+Tab to jump between events, spacebar for play/pause, and arrow keys to rewind and fast-forward. Analysts and coaches can now navigate through footage without ever touching the mouse.
Rugby CV: Players can now add contact email and phone number to their Rugby CV, a shareable profile that showcases their stats and highlight reels to scouts and selectors.
Account mention groups: You can now create groups of users and mention the whole group in a single comment, making it easy to loop in coaching staff or selection panels.
Game filters in presentations: When building a presentation that pulls clips from multiple games, you can now filter by specific game to find the clips you need faster.
Drawing improvements: On-screen drawing annotations now load with low-quality preview thumbnails first for faster performance on slower connections, and we simplified the underlying playback system for smoother scrubbing.
Admin tools: New admin dashboard columns and actions to help our team manage accounts more efficiently.
Performance: Under-the-hood optimisations to player stats calculations and database queries, making pages like the presentations index load noticeably faster.
It's shaping up to be an exciting year. Stay tuned for more in April.
