Club history
Old Redcliffians RFC was formed in 1918 by former pupils of Redcliffe Boys School who had returned from serving in World War One.
The club originally played at Daventry Road in Knowle until 1968.
In 1968 Old Redcliffians moved to its current Scotland Lane ground in Brislington on the south-east edge of Bristol.
Ellis Genge - an Old Redcliffian - became the first player from the club to captain England when he led the side against France on 11 March 2023.
The club runs four senior sides a sevens team a ladies side and a full range of junior teams.
Recent seasons
Finished 11th in National League 2 West in 2024-25 with 31 points.
Dan Cox continues as head coach of the Brislington-based club and is also Director of Rugby at South Gloucestershire College.
Ellis Genge of Bristol Bears and England has maintained his connection with his boyhood club having joined Old Reds aged 12 in 2007.
