Club history
Gloucester Rugby and Hartpury College jointly founded the women's team in 2014.
Gloucester-Hartpury were awarded a Premier 15s franchise in 2017 having never previously competed in the Women's Premiership or Championship.
The club won their first league title in 2022-23 by beating Exeter Chiefs becoming the first team outside London to win the competition.
They retained the title in 2023-24 and completed a historic three-peat with a 34-19 win over Saracens at StoneX Stadium in the 2024-25 final.
England captain Zoe Aldcroft is one of the club's flagship Red Roses internationals.
Recent seasons
Gloucester-Hartpury beat Saracens 34-19 in the 2024-25 PWR final at StoneX Stadium on 16 March 2025 to complete an unprecedented three-peat of titles.
The club beat Exeter Chiefs 34-19 in the 2022-23 final at Queensholm and Bristol Bears in the 2023-24 final to set up the historic three consecutive championships.
Head coach Sean Lynn was appointed Wales Senior Women's head coach in January 2025 and departed Gloucester-Hartpury after the 2024-25 final ending his 24-year stint with Hartpury and Gloucester.
Dan Murphy was confirmed as the new Head of Rugby ahead of the 2025-26 PWR season following Lynn's departure.
