Club history
Tonbridge Juddians was formed in 1999 through the merger of Tonbridge RFC founded in 1904 and Old Juddians founded in 1928 by former pupils of The Judd School.
The merged club is based at The Slade in Tonbridge after the Old Juddians' Avebury Avenue site was sold for development with proceeds reinvested in town rugby.
TJ began life in London 2 South after the merger and only joined the national leagues in 2011.
The club gained promotion to National League 1 for the first time after the COVID-curtailed 2019-20 National League 2 South season was decided by best playing record with TJ going up as the best runner-up.
