Club history
Leeds Tykes beat Bath 20-12 in the 2005 Powergen Cup final at Twickenham on 16 April 2005 with Scottish international Gordon Ross winning man of the match.
The cup win came during a remarkable late-season recovery from being eight points adrift at the bottom of the Premiership to finishing 8th and qualifying for the Heineken Cup.
The club first qualified for the Heineken Cup thanks to a fifth-place Premiership finish in the 2002-03 season.
Following the 2006-07 Championship-winning season Leeds Beckett University took a majority stake and the club was rebranded as Leeds Carnegie for its return to the Premiership.
Recent seasons
Won the 2024-25 National League 2 North title on 5 April 2025 finishing eight points clear of Sheffield to earn promotion back to National League 1 after a two-season absence.
Travelled to The Slade to face Tonbridge Juddians on 22 November 2025 in their first season back at tier 3.
Held their End of Season Awards in May 2026 after completing the 2025-26 National League 1 campaign.
