Bath Rugby was founded in 1865 as Bath Football Club and has played at the Recreation Ground since 1894.
Bath dominated English rugby between 1984 and 1998 winning ten domestic cups and six league titles under coach Jack Rowell.
Bath became the first English club to win the European Cup by beating Brive 19-18 at Stade Lescure in Bordeaux on 31 January 1998.
