Topic

Company and Product.

How Framesports works, what we ship, and the stories behind the teams we partner with.

This is where we show our work. Framesports is built with rugby people, not just for them, and this topic is how we keep that honest: what we are shipping, why we built it the way we did, and the stories behind the teams we partner with. You will find product updates that explain what changed and what it means for your week, the thinking behind decisions like why we only analyse rugby, and behind-the-scenes looks at how real clubs, academies, and unions use the platform. We would rather tell you what we are working on and why than leave you guessing. If you want to understand where Framesports is heading and the people pushing it there, start here, and you will know the roadmap, the reasoning, and the rugby behind every release.

We try to write the updates we would want to read as a customer. That means less marketing language and more detail: what actually shipped, what problem it solves, and what is coming next, alongside the occasional honest account of something we got wrong and then fixed. You will also find the stories behind our partnerships, from grassroots clubs to national unions, and the reasoning behind the calls that shape the product, like staying rugby-only instead of spreading across every sport. If you are deciding whether to trust us with your season, this is the topic that shows you how we think and how we work. Expect a regular update on what we have built, written in plain language, plus longer pieces when a release changes how a team works day to day. We will also flag the things we have chosen not to do, and why, because the roadmap we leave out says as much about us as the one we ship. And when we partner with a club or union, we try to tell that story properly: what they were struggling with, what we changed, and what it looked like a season later, in their words rather than ours.

We often get asked if we use AI to label our data. Short answer: no. At Framesports, every single data point is captured by a real person. Our analysts watch your footage and manually tag every event - AI doesn't…
